I've never got diskvalid to fix anything, with the FIX argument. Better used
for regular disk check-ups. But PFS Doctor *really* works. It's ugly but it
sorts stuff out if you ever need it. Version 3 is an expensive upgrade on
paper, but you really need it (apart from the tools it's a major
improvement as a filesystem too). There are defrag tools and easier ways of
recovering from the deldir nowadays as well, so everything is covered, not
to the extent and quality of OFS/FFS tools such as ReOrg or DiskSalv4, but
at least covered.
