I offered, noone phoned me , I havent got a VW Bora so I'd need a reason to
veer of-course ;-)

(seriously though, for other readers, nothing was arranged between me and
any user, just Denise Van Outen)

its not that big, in fact it looked VERY neat in the tower that i saw. it
has 4(?) PCI slots and aboive that a 2 rows of 10 custom chips (converting
to PCI etc etc) all very very neat! it connects to the trapdoor accel slot
and has passthrough for the A1200 accels. works with BPPC no probs.
the card that had on display was just a basic 10 quid S3Virge, which was
performing as well as the >120 quid CyberVision3D as you'd expect. 16bit
Workbench in 1024x768 (basic, mundane res.) worked fine. I used the machine
myself...opened up the screenprefs mode and saw the full list of Elbox
mediator driver defined screens.

no 3D card on display yet as drivers not finished....but I'd bet a LOT of
people would be quite happy to install a 20 ukp PermediaII card and get 160
quid BVision performance and full current Warp3D/Amiga support. (if you get
a VoodooIII then you'll get high performance but have to wait for support
from current titles via Warp3D as those drivers would ALSO have to be
finished

they should have! :-)

alan
Hi Alan,
Thanks very much for your information on the Mediator, it sounds like just
the ticket for one of my machines, but I wonder if there will be a snag with
drivers, just how many drivers and for which graphics cards are people
working on? I don`t think that I`m capable of writing one for myself.
What I relly need is some kind of tardis or time machine so that I could
attend all of the southern shows and pick up some goods. ;) Has someone got
one for sale on Amibench :)
Yours [Flash]
