We've had this convo before. Indeed, it was you that sent me the Reflashing
files :-)
The PPC board, when plugged in, just crashes the machine on power-up. It
doesn't start booting, it just crashes as soon as you press the power button
on the Tower. It crashes in a loop type thing.
One thing that was suggested to me is that maybe the 16M SIMM I've got in my
B1260 (and which I plugged into the PPC) may be incompatible. One of these
days, I'll try the PPC board without memory.
