Hello,
Right, I have been playing about with HereticII that was ordered from Formatt
Computing at Sealorama last weekend, and delivered Saturday.
I am unable to get the videos to play properly either from cd or hd. Most of
the frames are skipped. Has anyone managed to get these playing properly?
I have a BlizzardPPC 240mHz + BVision and the cd rom and hd's are accessed via
a Power Flyer i/f. The hd's are all using PFS3. I have added plenty of caches
for the drives in use.
I notice in the HereticII/user/config.cfg file there are a number of 'vid'
settings, would it be possible to alter something to make the videos work
better, or alternatively would it be possible to make smacker play in a
smaller window?
I can't see anything in the help files about this in detail, and atm the Titan
site is not available, they are re-writing it.
Any help appreciated, I've got to the palace in the game so far, so plenty to
do.
And as a matter of interest what screen size and other settings are others
using?
And FPS?
