My Incoming folder only ever has e-mail in it when it's just finished
downloading. I filter all the ML ones to a folder, and reply to relevant
ones in there. If there are any URL's I would like to check out, I move that
mail to an archive folder. Any other mails in the ML folder are deleted.

Incoming mail is also similar. The only mail left in Incoming at the end is
stuff not sent to me from egroups at the moment. It goes through the same
treatment, although if it's personal mail, I'll probably keep it.

Using the rules above, I've got 885 e-mail's. Including 112 from the sent
folder (I use my own script to keep it truncated to 250 messages)
