I recently created a separate YAM partition, because YAM / PFS2 was
causing me too many problems, and I didn't want to lose other
important data on my Work: partition. My YAM: partition is currently
168MB full (so approximately 160MB of emails). I have almost 10GB of
hard disk space, so 160MB of emails ain't such a big deal :)
And I find it's not so easy to search for mails on the eGroups
website. The last time I tried, no matter what I did, it wouldn't
search the entire archive for emails, it just searched the past month
or so. It's far easier (and quicker) to do use the AmigaDOS 'search'
command.
