Hi,
I installed SFS on all my HD partition. I have a Seagate 9,1GB SCSI HD
and I made 7 partition.
The installation was ok, but now I' not sure about the settings. What I want
to say is that it doesn't look to me as fast as you say. For example: If I
copy 3 .mp3 files (let's say about 12 Mb) from one partition to another, it
tooks me 15-20 sec. So I think there's something wrong with my conf/settings
or whatever else. I set the Mask and the MaxTransfer rate (I know this
doesn't influence the speed)
both to 0x7FFFFFFF, but I'm not sure about it. And what about buffers? My
partition size:
System: 200Mb
Net: 1,5Gb
Progs: 1,5Gb
Games: 1,5Gb
MP3s: 1,5Gb
Misc: 2Gb
Share: 128 Mb
