Hello Andrea,

I too have installed SFS version (1.84) and I have not seen any speed
increase. I have been told that my Identitier number is not correct. I
have 0x554E4901 which is the Unix file system. Check you Identiter
number. It should be 0x53465300. I am going to change my to custom and
use the 0x53465300 Identitier.

Hi Warren,
be careful!!!! Yesterday I changed manually from HDtoolBox the SFS
Identifier, from 0x43465300 to 0x53465300 and when I reboot my
machine................:-((((
Amiga refuse to boot and I was no more able to access my HD in anyway.
Booting from floppy---->GURU!!!
Booting without startup-sequence-->reset loop. If I look at "Boot Options"
in Early Startup Sequence, a lot of strange characters, numbers & symbols
appear to me, but not the partition name, if are bootable or not and all the
others "normal" things you could expect to find in it!. Once I rebooted my
machine and I saw exec.library instead of partition in the "Boot Options"
page!!!!!
I called my friend and took my Amiy to it.....Well now I have my Amy again
without data loss expect for the last partition where I changed the
Identifier (I had to format it).
