Salve ,
some time ago i've buy a powerflyer board, on rom for my
A1200 and i've conneted to my old HD seagate at 1.2 gig.
now i've found in a offer a new Hd Fujitsu MPE3064AT Ultra-DMA66,
and i've connected it to my 1200 partitioned in no spplit mode
and setted to PIO5 MODE (UDMA) and set the blocks to 1024 byetes
(on the seagate they are 512) formatted and installed the
pfs3 filesystem but the speed with the prgs and tests seem to be
the same or slower then the seagate, why?? the PFlyer Gold board
can handle 16.6 Mb of speed (from doc..) and the speed of the hd
is moooore slower than this one..
if someone can give me suggestions or help me i would be very happy
