What sort of A1200 accelerator have you got already (if any)? The best
option in my opinion is to buy a SCSI card for your accelerator. You will
notice a big difference over your squirrel- it will be faster, and
(depending on your accelerator) it will be instantly available from the
get-go, meaning you can boot from Zip.
If you don't have an accelerator, you should probably go for an
A4000/3000/2000 Blizzard. Not sure of the cost on these sorry. I'm pretty
sure these are Z4 compatible- but check with Eyetech first.
You could chain your SCSI system with CD-ROM (inside th tower), Zip (I guess
it's external) and Scanner.
In my A1200T with Blizzard 1240, I have an internal CD-Rom, internal Zip
(rather rare!), and an external socket waiting for the day I finally get a
scanner. It's a set-up that works very well.
