I wrote a BOOPSI class sometime ago exactly for this purpose - it will send
a IDCMP_GADGETHELP to the window when the mouse is over the gadget, however,
unlike a standard buttongclass it will re-send the message when the mouse
moves slightly but is still over the gadget. It can also change colour when
you click on it, it is ideal for an HTML link (the reason it was written!).
If you'd like the code I could send it to you? It's a bit dis-organized
though, I wrote it when I first getting into BOOPSI.
