C and C++ have a different syntax for some things.
They also use different header files (e.g. C uses
stdio.h and C++ uses iostream.h).
If you're interested I can take along a couple of
C/C++ books to highlight the differences to our next
meeting.

I'd make sure that you are not using any commands
specific to whatever compiler it was that you used on
the PC.
