>From what I understand from the documentation, what happens is this:
The translator looks for processor-specific code first (e.g. tool.XX). If
it finds it, it uses that. Otherwise, it defaults to the VP code tool (ie
tool.00)
So, for portability, you should *always* ship VP code. But, if you want to
specifically optimize for particular processors, ship tools coded natively
for those processors, too.
