Subject: | AMIOPEN: MP3 Player and library |
Anyone feel like helping out?:
A while ago I started poring madlib and madplay, an integer-based MP3
decoding library and player/converter. I've got the library working fine
(although it could use a VP expert to code a multiply asm macro instead of the
slower C one I'm having it use now), and madplay works to convert a mp3, but
I'm having a hard time getting it to play back via dsfx. I just get static. I
don't really know a lot about audio (but I do think I know where part of the
problem is.)
My (real) work has become very busy and there's a big suprise for Winease I
need to focus on for the next release- so madlib is sitting and rotting.
Would anyone else like to help out? If so, please let me know.
Thanks :)
Pat
