In the Collas era, there were talks about a new object oriented API for
distributed programming, dubbed AmigaObjects, if I remember correctly.
Perhaps that idea came from Jim hiring that folk called Dave Curtis. There
was also a job offer at Amiga, coming from a certain Blake Ward, calling for
an OO specialist, that was a year ago.
Then, I heard about some internal project called "Andromeda", which in the
present era, looked like its successor. I miss this piece as much as you,
and also about Wouter Van Oortmerssen's Sheep scripting language. Are these
components buried down? Andromeda still has a mailing list in Amiga's
majordomo mailing list server.
See ya!
