I can safely say that there are a lot of good graphics cards out there and some
are faster(or slower) than The Matrox Gxx0 range, but our choice in gfx cards
does however come down to the support we get from the supplier. In this
regard Matrox have been super all the way, we might get the same treatment
from other gfx card vendors aswell.

If we would go with what�s fastest for the day I see no reason to talk about
consumer level cards and CPU�s, as there will always be faster products out there
but we have to factor economic realities into the calc.

Also of note is the benefit we get out of not going legacy/generic in our 2D/3D
sub system(compare PC PowerVR to the Dreamcast and you see what I mean).
