I think that settles the issue. zip is, across platforms, the most
established
archive format, and most if not all developers can handle it well.

You datatypes freaks out there: Go pummel the Snoqualmie gang for
documentation on this filesystem interface, and extend it to bzip2, lha,
whatever... ;-)

(I would do it myself, but I guess I have to learn some more about coding
first, get a job, etc. etc. ;-) )
