There is a certain company that provide an OS, some serious applications, and don't
care about fair-play. And there is a certain CPU-maker, in tight relation with the above.
Do you think they are interested in OS/platform/CPU independence, and so in shrinking
of their market?
OK, the case will be different if the former will be halved to an OS-house, and an apps-
house. (If these are really get into only a far relation.) Not mentioning the upcoming
new devices (appliances, etc.) with neccessarily more optimal SW/HW.(*) But it takes
some time.
(*) It shrinks the market of the aboves futher, and so will make them nervous...

Note that Ami will run not just on this machine. Indeed, most copies will probably run on
other platforms. AFAIK.
