SH4 & 5 in consoles?
Are we missing out on the shifts in the market here? Why not make a Console
reference design - all the major games houses are starting to shift their
activity away from PC gaming onto consoles - more stable environment
because of less different configurations, less different hardware to support
etc.
Admittedly its a hard market to compete in, but if there's room for
something
like Indrema (www.indrema.com), a Linux games console, well....lets at least
give an indication that Ami DE is the ideal environment for gaming.
Sega is still suffering - games are being cancelled for the console because
ppl
feel the installed base is too small - Ami software being able to run on it
seems like an ideal way for Sega to sell more hardware plus its seems like
a doddle to realise after Tao has already demoed Elate on Dreamcast...
