| Subject: | AMIOPEN: rebol, amiga and qnx in main press? |
Hi,
today I was contacted by chief editor of prestigous Czech programmers
magazine Softwarove Noviny (Software magazine - http://www.softnov.cz). Mr.
Minarik contacted me because I offered him QNX RtP article some time ago.
So - I've got 12000 chars wide space for describing RtP, and possibility of
3 pictures each counting 1000 chars approx.
As it's very good magazine, I am a little bit scared about publishing my
articles there. So I gave Mr. Minarik reference to my Amiga Review collumns,
and after reading them, he wrote back to me that If he would know about such
articles, he would be interested in getting amiga into his magazine. Very
interesting in regards to future. I like his open-minded, non-ms-only
aproach ...
I also mentioned REBOL, and suggested him downloading last experimental
/View version. He wrote to me just one hour later, stating something like he
just looked at it for five minutes, and while not programming, he was really
excited. He was interested in one short 6000 word introduction and
possibility of bigger article, describing scripting languages in general,
with special orientation on REBOL. What's more, he was even interested in
some immediate preliminary REBOL review on their website. :-)
I just wonder one thing. If old good pekr can make it, maybe more of us can
make it. It seems to me world is starting to be interested in new solutions.
Why not take the oportunity?
