Subject:AMIOPEN: OT: Console Market (was: Sega)

That's going to be interesting allright. Actually the whole licensing issue
around the DE is interesting, since - Is a PC with the DE installed still
a PC, or an Amiga computer? If not, then is a Dreamcast booting
the AMI de from a GD-rom no longer a Dreamcast?

Also, the Console itself can be expanded on with a keyboard and mouse
and a broadband adapter is being developed. You could potentially
do slightly more than just play games, a large memory card provided.
It would open up a world of content to DC owners, especially with
broadband acces to Web based drivespace, web based email accounts etc.
