More than just said: tao/AmigaSDK/etc. on Linux *IS* about twice as
fast as when bogged down with windoze bloat.

Right. With Linux, Black Billy doesn't get any of the developer's
Money. Just as importantly, he doesn't he get the inextricably
associated direct and indirect support for his criminal monopoly.
But we've been through all this before from every angle. It's an
especially redundant and obnoxious waste of bandwidth to start the
Windoze Whining Wagon all over again now that Amiga Inc. has made
their decision and stated that they will eventually be releasing a
windoze based SDK.
Of course, it remains my own opinion that this is a tremendously wrong
and self destructive decision for Amiga Inc. I still think it's a
complete waste of commitment, time, money and resources that is
especially disapointing in light of the total lack of promised legacy
Amiga support. But that's been said, too.
On the up side, there is this list, where new Linux SDK users may get
the assistance they need to remain un-shafted, and Amiga Inc.
continues to work and partner with more factions of the Linux and Open
Source communities.
But it may be the biggest UP news is that QNX RtP is shipping. More
avenues for intelligent, efficient, open-oriented computing are
appearing regularly. A little competition might help get Amiga Inc.
back on track!
