Subject: | AMIOPEN: This List |
Sorry for the bandwidth ...
I have hesitated to even respond, but it is apparent that a few people do
not get it. This list is not a marketing opportunity for other OS makers.
Because of our ability to run hosted or stand-alone, we will have some
discussions concerning how and when each version will be available and I am
sure we will have some cross talk about it as it happens.
Considering the opportunities for developers, there are three places I
would expect to find various Amiga (and other) software developers.
There is Phoenix, which greenboy represents with fire and fury and they are
usually busy with various non-denominational projects. I would suspect that
any OS developmental talk is going to happen there without religious wars
regardless of who makes the OS.
This list which is, in case anyone missed it, an AMIGA development list.
This list is expressly for open source Amiga developers, Amiga SDK
development problems, posting Amiga SDk development news, and a place for
Amiga SDk developers to help each other.
All the Amiga staff hangs around so even non-developmental questions can
get asked and sometimes get answered here if it relates to the Amiga
itself. Our internal developer lists will also be for the express uses of
AMIGA developers.
Other Software and OS companies have their own lists and their own places
they elect to push their OS or applications.
We are all busy. Each of us has our own forums and places we push our
products. Please respect each others forums.
Phoenix is neutral ground where REBOL, MorphOS, Dolphin, Linux, RTP, Amiga,
KOSH, and I suspect any other OS will or can and should be discussed.
There will be no religious wars here.
Sincerely,
Catch the Dream ... Amiga Dream Team
