| Subject: | MorphOS and G3/G4- some opinions |
Hi there,
The MorphOS issue has certainly stirred up some interests- The message count
has gone way up on this list :) - or is that :(
Firstly, I was wondering if Sam Jordan has made any comment elsewhere about
the relative merits of MorphOS and his own and H&Ps efforts. If he hasn't,
perhaps he could be persuaded to do so here?
Secondly- whats the betting on the first G3/G4 card? The recent
announcements about shipping dates for the Mediator /could/ mean that a PCI
processor card could be the first out- as the AmiJoe is next year I hear,
and the only other ongoing project is the ZorroIII Brainstormer...
-This could be bad for big-box owners- the Mediator is definitely A1200
first and foremost.
-Unless the BoXer comes along on the inside and pips them all with a
68k-less shiny new motherboard.
When something comes out I hope it doesn't ALL come down to making a choice
about which software you advocate to use though- H&P people get AmiJoe,
BoXers get MorphOS etc...
