1) Well.. first of all there is no G3/4 boarsa available to the Classic Amiga
(not to the new one either?) and there will not be any this year.
2a) And WHEN/IF they will become reality Met@box has planned a gfx-card addon
to their G3-card. But I think it will never see the light.
b) ELbox will soon (15-16 August?) release their Mediator-PCI backplane and
as soon as drivers appear( the CyberGraphX team is working together with
ELbox to make drivers) you could use for example Voodoo3/5 and S3 Virge3D cards.
According to the Mediator page on www.vgr.com/pci a driver for S3 Vrige 4MB
card allready excist and there will probably be a Permedia2(who would want
that??:) ) driver to.
So your options are to wait for the G3 cards to appear (read. NEXT YEAR) and
get a GFX-card that fits straight into it *or* you could keep your BPPC and
buy the Mediator and get a Voodoo3 wich will outperform the BVPPC easy.
Or maybe keep your current setup and wait for the new AmigaOne, not that i
think it will came out in December 2000 as Amiga Inc. have said... but who
knows :)
