G3 slow? G4 aint really fast? have you actually used those CPUs with a
half-decent Operating system? ;-)

i thought they'd planned on using an ATI Rage128 on the Met@Box addon ?

when these cmpanies state a date, add at least 2 months onto it!

likewise, slow and expensive? Sorry, but it *way* outperforms the current
Amiga gfx cards AND costs less than half what the current gfx cards cost.

Voodoo5 dual-GPU version costs around 250 ukp

TNT2's are quite nice chips...always understated. Of course, a GeForce2 is
very nice...but we're not limited to just PCI gfx cards (no AGP for us
guys!) but also the amount of memory on them. NO! I know how much the
Mediator can handle, however, the PCI specs were done years ago. Almost all
old PC motherboards cannot take PCI gfx cards with more than 16Mb on
them...they cant drive the memory. so look at 16Mb gfx as the most. anyway,
I dont expect any of us to complain at being limited to just 16Mb gfx
memory! ;-)
