You can say it as 95MB using the accurate computer
term MBytes (1024*1024), or you can make it look
better by using the math term M (1000*1000); either
one is legal... if you call them, they'll simply tell
you which one was implied in the ad. Your example
is technically correct but doesn't fit the examples
we have been talking about. It should be -
A drive with 100663296 bytes (the exact number of
bytes on a Zip cart) would be listed as 96 MByte
if you used computer version of M, but can also be
legally listed as 100 MBytes if you assume the M is
the Math term M (1000*1000); that is what marketing
does.
