Current PC and Mac PCI busses can be clocked synchronously
at up to 33MHz and asynchronously at up to 66MHz. All
current PCI Host adapters (like Motorola's MPC107) support
both modes. What Intel has over standard bus controllers
is AGP... neither IBM nor Motorola yet offer AGP in a standard
bus controller. They probably don't want to pay Intel's license
fee for it. :^} They are instead heading the effort to improve
PCI again. Maybe do double data rate at 66MHz.
