Not entirely pointless - MorphOS allows them to work the kinks
out of the system before the PPC only cards are available. They
are doing like Microsoft and using the current hardware folks to
beta test the software. As a result, it's in a better state
to grab the PPC only market than H&P's black box emulation.
I don't know the state of H&P's emulation, but MorphOS looks
pretty good right now, and improving rapidly from the user
feedback.
If it gets good enough and H&P hasn't released their
emulation, someone will write a WarpOS emulation library
for it much like Frank Wille's ppc.library emulation
for WarpOS. WarpOS's use of the EHF extension to AmigaDOS
file structure is certainly easier to support than ELF
is. :^}
