You are obviously talking about software rendering. In 3D Hardware rendering
(asides from Video Replay the only other application where you would need such
high framerates...) you do not have to send the whole data over the bus all
the time. You send the textures once (and if the GFX Card has not enough Video
RAM also later a bit :) ) and after that only the commands to do...
