hi,
well, since people are reporting, I'll report too.
I ran AmigaAmp 2.8beta7 with the plasma-plugin and
a continously loop of 120Mb of MP3s for 10 hours last night
whilst *also* having the RC5-64/OGR WarpUP & 68k clients
running.
this morning, when I got up, the music was still playing
(turned my hifi off overnight of course!!),
the plasma plugin had stopped drawing though...but pressing <esc>
quit it out. everything else...even Miami local network, was still
running 100% fine.
So, apart from finding a small bug in plasma-plugin, the card works fine.
my card is 50MHz-060/240MHz-PPC, no overclock, no hacks ever, with BVision
I have one single Pentium fan which just rests on the edge of the card (which
is vertical in tower) blowing down onto components below - I have to have
this during summer-time, or my Amiga will lockup from overheat in < 1hour of
use (as I found out last summer)
ie
