That only shows the stack is running, not whether it is online. Check
the docs for your TCP stack, Miami, MiamiDx and Genesis all have arexx
commands to test whether a particular interface is online.
e.g.
options results
address 'MIAMI.1'
'isonline'
if RC = 5 then say 'Miami is online'
