I wondered why Tony Blair was on a crusade last week to get companies on the
internet, and why school children are bringing home leaflets from school
recommending that parents get on the internet to help them with their school
work - stating: "since most parents now have access to the internet".
As far as I know, 6 million people in the UK use the internet, and 4 million
of those use it from work - not home.
Turns out that all those free ISPs (Freeserve included) are losing heavily
on the stock-market - share prices now being lower than when they were
released.
That`s what`s so good about democracies, you can rely on our leaders to tell
the truth, and not spin (read propaganda).
