That`s what I`ve got - 030/40 + 8mb + fast SCSII 2 + 40mhz PGA FPU - bought
from Power Computing - though it reads on the board itself "Taifun".
Actually - I have a question - does your Typhoon have an FPU on board, and
if so, does it work? Reason that I ask is I ordered the FPU after the
board, and installed it myself - unfortunately, I bent a pin, which I
managed to straighten out, but Imagine FPU crashes, and most other FPU
programs don`t give correct results (e.g. FlashMandel). If your FPU works,
I`ll buy a new one. I did email Power Computing about 6 months ago, but I`m
still waiting for a reply. ARTM tells me that the FPU is present, but like
I said, all FPU programs crash or don`t produce the results they`re supposed
to. I really want to use 3D textures in Imagine - I`ve only been waiting
about 10 years to use them - so I was well pi**ed when it wouldn`t work.
