Review
This game was given away as a cover disk for Amiga Power magazine a few
years ago. I'm not sure if it was ever sold in software shops because I have
never seen it advertised anywhere.

The game is the classic horizontally scrolling shoot'em up in the R-Type,
Project X genre. There are five levels or worlds to complete and you have the
option of doing them in any order. You collect weapons along the way and will
soon figure out which ones work best on which enemies. The enemies attack in
set patterns and you can also die by hitting the scenery.
The graphics are very nice and the sound is average. The use of color is
very nice especially after the first level, it's kind of fluorecent in
appearance and reminded me of UBI's other game Unreal. The gameplay is good,
although I find that the difficulty level is a little tough. Joystick response
is good but the collision detection is slightly off. The game scrolls at a
fairly slow pace but is pretty smooth and enemies will attack you from both
sides of the screen.

In conclusion, I have to say that I like the game. It's prettier than
R-Type, and although it's a run of the mill horizontal shoot'em up, it's fun
to play. I happen to like the high difficulty level but some people may not.
The enemies and levels are nicely varied and very well drawn and I like the
color scheme that was used. If you like shoot'em ups then you should like this
game. It won't stand out in your software collection but is still a nice game
to have. It's a better then average shooting game and you won't be
disappointed purchasing it.
