Review
This game is an enhanced version of Last Ninja 2 and greatly enhanced it
is. The object of the game is to kill the enemies and collect any items that
you find. The items are used to overcome certain obstacles that you will come
across throughout the different levels. There is a fair amount of thinking to
be done as there are puzzle elements to the game. You must know what items are
to be used in certain situations, nothing too tough but a little thought is
involved. Pinpoint accuracy when jumping is also sometimes required to get to
another part of a level.

The game plays well but controlling the main character is tricky until you
get used to it. The graphics are very nice and the music is also good. Another
nice feature is being able to save and load your games. The collision
detection seems to be a little off. I'm not sure if its because of the games
viewing perspective or the programming itself. You will notice it when you are
fighting other warriors and it looks like you're lined up correctly but your
punches and kicks will miss him. It's not a big deal and doesn't really take
away from the game at all because fighting is just a small part of the game.
The main emphasis is knowing when and how to use the items you collect.

In conclusion, I have to say that I liked the game. If you like fighting
games with some thought involved, then you will like this game. It's better
than Last Ninja 2 and just as good as Last Ninja 3. The game made me want to
keep playing and I really got absorbed in it. Once you figure out how to
complete the game you're unlikely to want to play it again, but it will take
some time to complete the game. Having arcade, adventure, and puzzle elements
work well together in the game and made the game more interesting for me. This
game deserves a spot in everyones software collection.
