precompiled kernels mostly have such devices (surf squirrel) as a module.
if i recall correctly the surfing part of that device (the serial port) is
supported but the SCSI part isnt. Linux can quite happily access SCSI
CDROM drives...but it has to be able to handle the SCSI controller. in
this case this may be a no no, I'll have a look this evening.

yes, its of type 'affs' and you can mount it with usual mounting commands.

eg

mount -t affs -o ro /dev/hda4 /mnt/amiga

(this is after you've made the directory /mnt/amiga (mkdir /mnt/amiga)
and the FFS partition is /dev/hda4 - yours may well be different! 90%
likely in fact :-) )
