I can also supply working Debian 2.2r2 CDs for PowerPC or 68k ...if it
comes to that level ;-)

Placing Linux onto the AACD has been very good coverage (even if many
negatives arrive) for one thing we now have more users of APUS and more
people with esoteric and exotic hardware combinations. This helps to fix
things and drive things. Future kernels will be compiled so that the
majority of people are served (whereas beforehand we never knew the full
target and so made them quite general). Of course, since the kernel
embraces/uses 'module components' for its drivers (similar to AmigaOS's
devs:#?.device system) this isnt too much bother, but certain features do
have to be built in
