Subject: | Lossless JPEG manipulation |
Hi,
I'm looking for a utility which allows simple manipulation of JPEG
images, particularly rotation, without decompressing and recompressing
and thus losing image quality. I've done a fair bit of web searching and
posted on c.s.a.graphics with no joy.
I've read that jpegtran which is part of the Independent JPEG Group's
suite of utilities should be able to do this but the port on Aminet
(gfx/conv/jpegV6bin.lha) is version 6a which doesn't seem to support
image rotation. Does anyone know of a port of the more recent 6b
release (the source is available from the IJG's website at
http://www.ijg.org) or of any other utilities which will do the same
job (command line preferred as I want to use this from an AREXX script)?
TIA
Robert
