Don't know if it's any help, but if you are using Hardfiles rather than a
dedicated Mac-formatted partition then try increasing the disk buffer with a
whopping great ADDBUFFERS command for whatever partition ShapeShifter /
Fusion runs from, either from the Shell or whatever script you use to launch
the program. Both Fusion and ShapeShifter were really slow on my '060/50
32MB 1200 until I tried this and now they are quite useable. I can't
remember offhand what buffer size I use, so have a play about with it.
IMHO Fusion is more stable than Shapeshifter, on my setup anyway.
