Subject: | More FUSION Trouble.. :-/ |
Hiya,
Got a problem with Fusion (as if you couldnt guess by the subject!)
anyway, I have a few scans that I did whilest I was at college a few years
ago and edited them using Photoshop on the Macs they had in the Art Dept. I
saved them all to one of my zip disks so that I wouldnt loose the work.
Now I am running Fusion on my setup and have got Photoshop (v4) I decided to
copy the files over to the Mac partition using the ICP thingy that Fusion
gives. Unfortunately I have a problem :-/
The files are quite large (over 13megs). I drag and drop the files from the
zip disk to the Mac partition and it appears to copy so much and then lock
the machine up. It usually copys about 5megs and then thats it. (machine
aint actually locked, I can still open DOpus requestors but it gets stuck
trying to read devices, mouse pointer moves fine and I can still swap
screens)
I have tried copy the files to RAM: first and then copying them straight to
the MAC partition and that didnt work, I have also tried doing it via the
cli. Infact I have tried pretty much everything I can think of.
There is only one thing that I can think it would be and thats the
Powerflyer(Gold) interface? Has anyone had trouble like this before and if
so, did they fix it? (ohh, and how!)
Thanks
Sam Thomas
