Technically, the idea is sound.
However, people don't buy those kiddies computers because they're
technically a good solution. They buy them because of extensive
(and expensive) advertising which makes parents aware of them,
and convinces them that their child needs one.
Unfortunately the Amiga is in its current state largely because
it has never been advertised as well as other solutions. I can't
see that changing, as no Amiga companies have the financial
backing required.
