Hya Folks.
I've just started to get a problem on my A1200. When booting up, I
get the message "ERROR: can't load sound." I click on continue a
couple of times and then Workbench boots up normally. However, I can't
now play wavs or MP3's. I deleted the copy of "Sound" in the Prefs
drawer and replaced it with a copy of it from a backup, but I still
get the same message. I suspect its a hardware problem, perhaps the
Paula chip is u/s or something along those lines, but I wondered if it
could possibly be a software fault that I could rectify. Any help
would be appreciated.
