The filename of the device needs to match the name of it internally,
or it will not load properly. Maybe not a problem with the HDD, but I
guess with the Zip drive you have a DosDriver for it? Maybe you need
to change the device string for that. Have a look at the device driver
with a hex editor, and find the exact name you need to use. If it's
different from the filename, you'll need to rename the file to that.
BTW, it will be a separate string from the version string, don't use
the name of the device that immediately follows the $VER: ...
