Before reading the following please note that when you are using any of
these disk tools something could go wrong (like clicking on the wrong
button :-0 ) so you really should be backed up before you start fiddling
with the settings.
That said, the answer is no, you won't lose any data and you won't have
to reformat. You will have to reboot if you want the changes to become
active right away though. If you are using PFS, you should be using
HDInstTools, at least according to Greed. And from all the messages
I've seen regarding HDToolBox, it is a much better behaved program.
