Subject: | Handspring vs Palm? |
I've read the reviews in Amiga Active and got some bumph from Carphone
Wharehouse.
So, what is the best PDA? Handspring or Palm?
The Palm is capable of flash updating it's OS but the Handspring has all the
add on modules!
Yes, I realise there are rumours about Amiga and a PDA company flying about
and that anyone that knows anything can't say so but my problem is simple.
Is it best to get the Palm PDA with the newer OS and the option to update to
whatever OS becomes available in the near future or the Handspring version
that uses an older OS but has all the plug ins? Both advertise that they can
access the net in one way or another but the Handspring needs additional
software to do so! If the software can be loaded into it then why can't it
accept the latest OS upgrade? Why does it use Palm 3.1 rather than Palm 3.5?
I have a Carphone Wharehouse Voucher that I can use but it runs out in
August!
Any (veiled) advice would be grateful!
Richy.
