Subject: | can't hear 2nd batch of songs on multi session CD-Rs |
MasterISO 2.5...
Well I figured out how to get the AIFF file to the CD-R without it sounding like pink noise (use Audio file input and not DOS file input)
The new problem involves multi-session CD-R's...
I have tried burning to CD-R (not RW) in multisession mode, which theoretically should allow me to write say 6 songs to a CD and then later on I should be able to write say 2 more tracks to the CD, however I can only ever access the other two tracks in the CD-ROM or CD-R burner drive...
If I play the CD in the car, or a home CD player, all I can access is the first 6 tracks and it just goes back to track 1 when I try to get to track 7!
Is it something to do with closing the disc or something else I may have missed, or is it a common problem when buring to a CD in two stages.... Do I need to reload all the existing tracks back into MasterISO (or reload the old Project and add the couple of extra songs at the end - I thought this way would've re-written the first set of tracks all over again, after what was already on the CD)
I tried closing the disc (had to add a blank space to the tracklisting before it would let me just close the disc) but that didn't work either...
Help me please!
Rich.
