AFAIK the pins aren't the same 'density', ie the 44 pin ide pins are a lot
closer together.
Although, with a pair long nosed pliers you could just solder the pins into the
board directly... and don't worry too much about blowing up your amiga with a
hot soldering iron, they're pretty resistant to anything. :)
Of course, usual disclaimers apply...
