I have the Handspring Visor Platinum and very good it is too. I chose it
over the Palm and the Handspring Prism for these reasons...
The Handsprings come with OS 3.5.2H which is one of the most up to date as
far as I know.
It hotsyncs fine with my Hypercom 3+ board and the Spitfire software but I
believe Handsprings don't work with the native Amiga serial port whereas
Palms do.
Hmmmmm! I've re-read the stuff and it seems that only the Visor comes with
Palm O/S 3.1! The Platinum seems like the one to go for as the Prism only
has the advantage of colour but do you really need to see your data in
colour? If so, get an organiser and use some coloured pens! <gg>
I've got an EZ/PC tower (when I get it back) so the Amiga/PC question isn't
that important although I'd prefer to use Spitfire as it's obviously better!
I think I'll have to use the Amiga native serial port so that could be a
problem.
What I really need to know is whether the Handsprings can have their O/S
updated in any way?
I'd rather have a Handspring than a Palm if only because of the Springboard
modules but I'd like to be as future proof as possible!
Thanks for the reply.
It's looking like Handspring Platinum 1 every else 0!
Richy.
