I had trouble with that for ages too, after I installed OS3.5, and the only
way I got it working in the end was to remove ALL traces of it (including
the libraries and .device files) and start from scratch with a new, clean hardfile
(courtesy of AF) and formatting a fully-below 4.3GB partition from there...
